You are in all the beautiful pictures on all the streets of town.

Every morning when I wake up, I will instinctively think of the trip to work and half expect to see your message saying you are already at the bus stop in the city. My eyes will then rest on the photos of my family and us, resting on my table, in my notebook, and for those few seconds I will take comfort in knowing that although our fate did not work out and we might not go back to being the closest we were before, there was indeed a time, and there is still a hope in life where my love will pull us through to even better times in the future.

Till then, my dear, follow your heart if that makes you happy.

I prayed we'll never change and we'll be together for good. I remember how much my prayers for you and I brought me to years, as if I never wanted anything more in my life than us. We were still happy and in love and hopeful that we'll never have to live apart.

Today, everything seems light years away.
